Once you are signed in your Sofcar account, your Dashboard will display the main upper menus for an seamless navigation among its features and configurations.
Access the Setup menu > Company Profile > Translations to locate and modify any of the system's default texts and contents according to the available languages.
Once you have accessed the Translations menu, click on the following folders to edit its files and customize its content according to your preferences:
Widget Edition of all the static texts of the booking process.
Web Edition of all the static texts of your template website.
Mails Edit all the texts used in the e-mail notifications to customers sent by the platform.
PDF Edit all the text used in the PDF documents created by the platform.
Take into account that the system default language is Spanish, so it will display texts and contents included in the Text by default column if no specific texts have been included in each language columns.
The direct edition of the Text by default column is not permitted, to modify or customize Spanish contents, edit directly over the Spanish column.
Don't forget to Save before you exit this menu to display your modifications.
Sofcar also includes an option to Export and Import texts of the system using an standard translation format: .xliff
The XLIFF format is an specific XML format for translation processes. This format discerns the original text and the translated text; so, when translating a string, we don't lose the original text. There are different applications specialized in translation processes. Using this format, you can translate all the documents of our platform in an agile and professional way.
Take into account that the export will generate the translation file according to the current language of your dashboard.
For example, if you want to export translation for English edition, you must access your dashboard in English.
